The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a brawl outside an Amsterdam high school on Monday.
The sheriff’s deputy said a fight broke out outside the building around 11:30 yesterday morning.
A 17-year-old boy fought with a 15-year-old, but they soon broke up.
Police say a 15-year-old boy threw the knife.
Police also said the 17-year-old had a knife but did not use it during the confrontation.
Both students were arrested, ticketed and released.
Since both lawmakers are minors, their names have not been released.
