Mark Kenny, former vice president of L3Harris Technologies (NYSE: LHX), has been appointed senior vice president of strategy and business development for Ultra Electronics’ maritime division.
The retired U.S. Navy Admiral will report to Ultra Maritime president and CEO Carlo Zafanella, who will oversee Ultra Maritime’s technology and business growth strategy in the Washington, DC area, the company said Thursday.
Prior to this appointment, Kenny served as Vice President of Advanced Naval Systems and Vice President and General Manager of L3 Harris’ Unmanned Maritime Division.
He also served as CEO of subsea software vendor Adaptive Methods, and vice president and general manager of Special Mission Systems for Northrup Grumman (NYSE: NOC).
Kenny serves on the advisory boards of the International Unmanned Vehicle Systems Association and the Defense Industry Association’s Undersea Warfare Division.
