Panama City, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) – The world-famous Glenn Miller Orchestra will once again return to Chipley High School.
Sponsored by Dr. James Clemmons, MD and the Chipley Band Boosters, this American swing dance band will perform for the community on Friday, January 27 at 7:00 pm at the Chipley High School Auditorium.
Chipley High School band director Shad Steptoe said it’s an exciting time for students and the community at large.
Steptoe said:
One of our percussion students is looking forward to learning new tips from the pros.
“I want to be more like them. They continue to do this into adulthood,” said Jace Strickland, a member of the Chipley High band.
The Chipley High School Auditorium is located behind campus at 1545 Brickyard Road, Chipley, FL 32428. Tickets go on sale at the door from 6pm.
