Evansville, Indiana (WFIE) – Four 2023 Business Hall of Fame recipients have been named by Junior Achievement in Southwest Indiana.
They were nominated for their civic and business contributions to the Evansville area.
Candidates should be pillars of the community, great role models, and business leaders with strong local impact.
Junior Achievement President Marcia Forston says having these role models helps students recognize their struggles and overcome them.
“They see perseverance, confidence, and the ability to manage the ups and downs—the perseverance and resilience that make them servant leaders,” says Forston.
Inducted into the Hall of Fame are current 2023 honorees Mark Schroeder and Greg Wasen. Colonel William McCurdy and James Iglehart, 2023 History Prize winners.
The official inauguration will take place on May 9 at the Old National Events Plaza.
