The day before he made his professional debut at the 1996 Greater Milwaukee Open, Tiger Woods faced the media with a big smile on his face.
Woods, 20, said, “Hello world. Swing the club.
Comedian Nate Bergatze, an avid golf fan, used this famous introduction as inspiration for his new comedy special, “Hello World.”
“I wanted a nice greeting,” Bargatze explained Tuesday during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “It’s also a tribute to Tiger Woods.”
