Jacksonville Dave & Buster’s employee arrested after serious fight at the business, police say – Action News Jax

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — An employee at Dave & Buster’s in Jacksonville was involved in a serious business brawl Saturday, according to new details from police.

Police say Cordell Bentley Russell, 34, was upset after working all day on Saturday.

Witnesses told police that someone told Russell, “‘Put the food down there’ in a strong tone.”

According to police reports, Russell replied, “I’m a grown-up (expletive) man. Don’t talk to me like that.”

Subsequent events have been compiled from police reports.

A doctor told police that the victim of the fight had a pulse, but was “probably ‘brain dead’.”

Russell is in Duval County Jail on an aggravated battery charge. His next court date is set for February 14th at 9am.
