If you commute east of Manhattan, today is the day you’ve been waiting for.
The first train is scheduled to leave Jamaica at 10:45am and run an express train scheduled to arrive at the new station at 11:07am.
LIRR will provide shuttle service from Jamaica to Grand Central Madison for at least three weeks.
Following the initial phase, a full service from Long Island to Grand Central is planned.
