Hampton Roads, Virginia — The Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce and the Hampton Roads Center for Small Business Development recognize Hampton by awarding one company from each of five Southside cities and one company from The Peninsula. • Special recognition for the Rose small business community. .
Of these six businesses, one will be named the 2023 Hampton Roads Chamber Small Business of the Year.
According to the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce, “Small businesses account for more than 95% of all employers, create three-quarters of all new jobs, and account for more than half of the country’s gross domestic product. It is the backbone of our local and national economy.” Say.
The deadline for nominations is January 31st, and the application deadline for all candidates is February 16th.
