Louisa County, Virginia (WVIR) – Louisa County has received significant funding to develop the Shannon Hill Regional Business Park.
The county received just over $11.5 million in grants to prepare the land. About 700 acres were lost.
This funding will set up the initial infrastructure for employers to start marketing the space for occupancy.
“This gives us the opportunity to expand our tax base here in Louisa County. More than 65% of the employees employed in Louisa County come to work every day. will be held,” said Supervisory Chair Duane Adams.
Grants are provided by the state to bring running water to the park. Progress is expected to begin in the coming months.
