Hampton – The Hampton Clean & Green Workplace Commission seeks to recognize local businesses that are striving to promote sustainability. Awards are given to companies that promote recycling, tree management, water-energy conversations, and other everyday practices that demonstrate a “clean and eco-friendly” approach.
Quality clean and green workplaces include zero litter initiatives, attractive facilities, community involvement, recycling and/or waste reduction initiatives, trash and ash bins, urban forestry and tree management, sustainability Possible landscaping areas, energy conservation practices, heritage protection, overall impression of the workplace, and more.
