A total of 69% of Czech companies raised wages last year and the same percentage are planning to raise wages in 2023, reports CTK Business News, citing a survey by Grafton Recruitment. Two-thirds of companies planning wage increases plan for increases of 6% to 10%, and one-third plan for increases of less than 5%, while 6% of employers plan for increases of 11%. We are planning an increase from % to 30%.
Employers are trying to ease last year’s inflationary pressures by increasing benefits, with 28% of companies introducing new benefits or increasing the value of existing benefits. Most of them included higher meal donation or meal voucher values. In some cases, new economic benefits were introduced, such as contributions to travel expenses, temporary or periodic contributions to energy costs, or new bonuses. On the other hand, 41% of companies plan to expand their team by 30% or more in 2023, 3% say they will grow by 30% or more, 15% say he will grow between 11% and 30%, and the rest about 5%.
