Fire destroys Castleton business

CASTLETON, Virginia (WCAX) – A fire destroyed a famous store in Castleton on Sunday morning.

It happened at the Gilmore Home Depot on Route 4A. The smoke was visible for miles.

“Please think of our employees and their families as we navigate through this tragedy,” the company’s Facebook statement said.

Details about the cause of the fire were not immediately available.
