There is power in numbers. That’s a lesson he’s been given since childhood to Frank Scavio, the owner of Paesan’s Pizza. So he works with local pastors, police and city leaders to stop crime in his area.
“We’re not going to point fingers. Let’s all get together, put our ideas together and see what we can do,” he said.
Bishop Avery Comithier began pastoring on patrol two years ago.
This is the second time he has met Scabio. Together, he believes they can come up with a solution. “Businesses need people, and people need businesses,” he said, Comithier.
The plan is to set up patrols in five areas of Albany. They are still in the early stages of formulating their strategy, but the plan is to bring tranquility and safety to both businesses and residents.
