ATLANTA (WRDW/WAGT) – On Wednesday morning, new Augusta Mayor Garnett Johnson and other city leaders attended the Eggs and Issues Breakfast in Atlanta.
Johnson and members of the Augusta-Richmond County Commission traveled to Atlanta Tuesday afternoon ahead of breakfast at the Georgia Chamber, which serves as the kickoff for the state’s legislative session. started earlier this week.
“We are fortunate to have our colleagues on board so that we can build partnerships across the state,” Johnson said ahead of the trip.
For breakfast, there was a bag of food from Atlanta-based Chick-fil-A, served at a finely set round table, along with orange juice and coffee.
