The MDI women’s and men’s basketball teams will travel to Orono on Tuesday, January 10 to play the Red Riots. Girls play at 5:30 and boys play at 7:00 pm.

The MDI Girls enter the day in 8th place in the Class B North Heel Points standings with a 3-4 record. Orono will go 0-8 and aim for their first win of the season.
The MDI Boys start the day in 12th place in the Class B North Heel Points standings with a 3-4 record. The top 12 teams will qualify for the tournament. Orono’s 8-1 record puts him in 3rd place, just 0.83 behind Winslow in 2nd place.
The MDI Girls will play Presque Isle at home on Thursday, January 12th.The start time of the game has been moved to 4pm
Both the MDI boys and girls will play against the Shiretowners at Horton on Saturday, with the boys playing at 4:00 and the girls at 5:30. These games are broadcast on WDEA AM 1370, WDEA Internet Radio, free downloadable apps and Alexa enabled devices.
