SPRINGFIELD — A Clark County man died Tuesday morning in an industrial accident at a Springfield machine shop.

Springfield police identified the man as 63-year-old William Skeans Tuesday afternoon.

Police were called to the 200 block on Dayton Avenue at approximately 7:50 a.m. to investigate the reported industrial accident.

Inspectors from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration are responding to the site, an OSHA spokesperson confirmed.

We are working to find out if other workers had other injuries.
