GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska (KSNB) – A Grand Island man faces three felony drug charges after being arrested over the weekend.
Grand Island Police arrested 61-year-old Ray Pallas on Saturday after someone notified him that he tried to sell drugs in a Wine, Beer and Spirits parking lot, according to Hall County Court documents.
In an affidavit, the GIPD said officers contacted Pallas, who admitted to having drugs in his car in an attempt to sell methamphetamine.
Police searched his car and found 40.8 grams of meth, 2 grams of marijuana THC wax, 20.3 grams of marijuana THC gummies and a digital scale.
Pallas was arrested and subsequently charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute and confiscate property used to commit a specific crime, and possession of money in violation of drug laws.
A Hall County Court judge set his bond at 10 percent of $75,000.
He is scheduled to return to court for a preliminary hearing on January 31 at 9:30 am.
