2023 MLK Parade to travel through downtown Lake Charles

LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA (KPLC) – The 2023 Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade is scheduled to pass through Lake Charles on January 16th.

Vehicles, ATVs, floats and marching bands are invited to register for the parade here and complete an application by Friday, January 13th.

Admission is $40 per visit.

The parade travels from Civic Center down Lakeshore Drive, through Broad, Enterprise, Mill Streets, and back to Civic Center via Lakeshore Drive.

The procession begins at 8am in the North Civic Center parking lot and the parade continues from 10am to 12pm.
