After a four-year delay, Metro’s Silver Line extension in Northern Virginia will open on November 15, the transit agency announced Monday.
The 11.5-mile extension, Metro’s largest expansion in eight years, will connect the rail system to Dulles International Airport. This was a coveted goal of Metro and Virginia officials. The expansion includes six of his stations and marks Metro’s debut in Loudoun County.
