PORTLAND, Ore. – Portland Timbers and Thorns FC announced today that football president Gavin Wilkinson and business president Mike Golub have been relieved of their duties at both clubs.
Following yesterday’s news that Merritt Paulson was stepping down from Thorns-related decision-making, General Counsel Heather Davis was appointed interim president of Peregrine Sports, overseeing business operations for both Timbers and Thorns.
Ned Grabavoy will continue to lead the Timbers’ football operations as Technical Director, and Thorns GM Carina LeBlanc will continue to lead Thornes’ football operations.
