NEW YORK. August 13, 2009. It is reported that Michael Douglas and his former wife Diandra have got another major family headache. Their son Cameron, aged 30, has been arrested in New York after allegedly violating the terms of his home detention by asking his girlfriend Kelly Sott to smuggle him in seven grams of heroin concealed in the battery compartment of an electric toothbrush. It seems that a private security company was watching him when his girlfriend Kelly Sott brought him the toothbrush and they contacted the authorities who arrested the two of them. Sott denies all knowledge of the presence of the drugs.

This is not his first brush with the law. He was arrested in California in 2007 for possession of a controlled substance when liquid cocaine was discovered in the car he was traveling in.
